Farmers markets play a vital role in building sustainable food systems, supporting biodiversity, strengthening local economies, and creating vibrant community spaces. With these awards, WorldFMC aims to recognize the individuals and institutions whose work is driving this impact forward.
The 2026 edition will highlight outstanding contributions in three categories: Best Market Manager, Best Farmer, and Best City. Open exclusively to WorldFMC members, the awards offer a unique opportunity to showcase innovation, leadership, and commitment within the sector.
Applications open on 19 March 2026 and close on 31 May 2026.
