On August 23, 2025, the the Croatian Markets Association in collaboration with the Sisak City Market hosted an event for the Erasmus+ project “Farmers Competences Coalition“. The project is founded by the European Commission and the partners are World Farmers Markets Coalition (project leader), Tabilia (Italy), Udruga Hrvatskih Tržnica (Croatia) and Xarxa de Consum Solidari (Barcelona). The initiative has worked to strengthen the digital skills of farmers and market managers, helping farmers markets become more competitive, resilient, and central to building a sustainable food system in line with the European Green Deal and Farm to Fork strategy.
